Dog Eared Turns 16!!!

How has Dog Eared Books survived for 16 years even as bookstores across the nation drop like flies? The answer is (drum-roll please) Our Neighbors!!! The Mission plays host to a thriving literary culture, with gazillions of dedicated readers, book clubs, writers, open mics, reading series, bookstores, writing programs, small publishing houses and magazines. It's not always easy living here, what with the noise, crime, and astronomical cost of everything, but gosh-darn-it, if you love reading and writing, it's worth it!
